Hillary Clinton to Jeb Bush: Americans 'Don't Need a Lecture'

• Clinton took umbrage at Jeb Bush's remark that Americans "need to work longer hours," saying that Bush "must not have met many American workers. They don't need a lecture. They need a raise."

• She slammed a tax proposal by Marco Rubio, saying it would reduce taxes for Americans making more than $3 million. "That's a sure budget-busting giveaway to the super-wealthy," Clinton says.

• She supported what the AP calls "a laundry list of Democratic-leaning policy ideas," including an increased federal minimum wage, an overhauled tax code, public investment in roads and bridges, and "renewable energy and tax cuts for small business owners."

• She promised to strengthen the 2010 Dodd-Frank Law that increased regulations on financial institutions, and in a jab at President Obama, says she would prosecute bad bankers.

• She "made some explicit references to workers of color" in her speech, an apparent attempt to court Latino voters, the Washington Post reports.

• She also took a shot at the contractor economy, Wired reports, saying she would take action against "bosses misclassifying workers as contractors." Such business can undermine solid labor practices, she said. Uber, look out.

Unlike some candidates who promise and pander ideas that will never happen, at least in the near future.

2. I wish over the next six months Mrs. Clinton could rally Ds on one item. Make Congress raise the Fed

Make Congress raise the Federal Minimum wage. That's their job.

Congress has been asked over and over for several years by the current Admin. and Congress ignores.

Mrs. Clinton has several months to the primary. If she or (even Senator Sanders or both together!) could focus on each Congress member individually and rally their people to hammer Congress. Congress would do their job to get millions of Americans off their backs.

IMO, the current political media coverage plays right into republican hands.

6. She's also addressed his complicity for disenfranchising voters in FL in 2000. I'd love to see him

skewered by her just as many other GOP have been when she was in the Senate and SoS.

I'd prefer Trump to get it for the entertainment value, but it'd be 'so wrong in so many ways.'

I'm still thinking, with the IFs, IF she gets it. And IF Walker is the one the Kochs invite to the prom to 'get the red rose' as Obama said.

Bush I - "Read my lips"
bush II - "If you're not with us you're against us"
Bush III (Jeb) - "Americans need to work more hours"

Too bad Bush III doesn't listen to his own mother "we've had enough bushes in the White House"
