The Hillary Clinton campaign increased its presence in California by opening an office in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

In Clinton’s absence, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and L.A. County Supervisor Hilda Solis added a bit of political glitz for the 150 supporters and volunteers.

Dressed in a sea of orange T-shirts that read “LIUNA for Hillary,” members of the Labors’ International Union of North America Local 300 chanted “Si se Puede!” and “Hillary! Hillary! Hillary!” as the speakers kicking off the event pivoted to the news that Sen. “We don’t need a candidate who says, ‘You’re fired!” Garcetti said. “We need a candidate who says, ‘You’re hired!”

Despite Clinton’s loss Tuesday in Indiana to Bernie Sanders, she remains solidly ahead of the Vermont senator in the delegate count.

She continues to inch closer to the 2,382 delegates needed to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination, and recent polls in California have shown the former secretary of state pulling away from Sanders.

What with facing to the left, black and white, and rays emanating from her head -- not to mention the use of the phrase "estoy contigo" ("I am with you&quot . In the Spanish-translated version of 'Don't Cry for Me, Argentina," Eva sings:

No Llores por me Argentina (Don't cry for me Argentina)
Mi alma esta contigo (My soul is with you)
