By Leela Daou May 7, 2016
In a 2011 documentary titled Miss Representation, Rosario Dawson paints an inspiring picture of the future, where Americas leaders are women and people of color.
Rosario Dawson:
"Were creating new leaders and theyre going to not look like how they always did, an older white male. Theyre gonna look like a woman and theyre gonna look like people of color and that is the true reflection of this country and of this world.
LEELA DAOU: "As a woman of color, I share Dawsons vision. And I know 12.4 million Hillary voters proudly agree."
Watch from 7:55 (and note that Hillarys image is the first that appears after Dawsons comments.)
HILLARY CLINTON:
As President she will appoint more women of all races and backgrounds to her Cabinet & is working & fundraising to bring with her Presidential win, Nov 2016, many more women in the House & Senate to assist her broad, open minded & wise policies for the future of all beliefs, genders, races, & economies.
Human Rights /Equal Rights
Celebrate that dream Ms Dawson. You were right in 2011, so prepare to celebrate the biggest most significant revolution of your time.

(1,033 posts)In 2008 I had an 11 year old and an 8 year old and I teared up as we had our first African-American President. Honestly, it was something I didn't think would happen in my lifetime.
Now, I have an 18 year old (who is voting for the first time this year, and took his Primary vote seriously, and did it, and I was proud) and a 15 year old, and they will get to see the election of the first female POTUS.
I hope this all seems normal to them.

Rosario has a lot of karma to clean up the way she's been dissing President Obama, Hillary, and her supporters. So glad people like her don't get their way.
