Just ask for links to back up the rhetoric from the BS posters

At one time nothing on this board was considered valid unless you could post a link backing up your claims. Otherwise it is just opinion and rhetoric.

So all we need to do is start demanding the integrity we once held everyone on this board to. I have been using this when a BSER responds with lies about Hillary. Most of the time they try to respond with more rhetoric and telling you it doesn't need to be linked. That is when you have them for the phony they are.

If you can't back it up with fact, then it is garbage.

and they either slink away or try and bullshit you with stupid photos of Bush & Hillary or videos taken from God knows where. If you point out that, as amusing as these are they are not what a thinking adult would consider "evidence" they become quite irritated.

Or rhetorical questions?

They state on accusation and then want the guilt disproven. What is with America and assumption of guilt? Public assumption of guilt is how we get lynch mobs.

hah This has happened to me, too. There was one poster in particular (a different website) who always made wild claims about HRC and would always include links. At first I would skim the links and not pay too much attention but when I started looking more closely, I noticed that a lot of the links didn't back up the poster's claims at ALL. Another time, one of the links was BREITBART (not even kidding).

So I've learned my lesson – don't take what people say at face value because a lot of them are banking on the fact that most people don't really investigate the source.

That happens rather frequently. Context is important.

finding their links (sources)!

Google can be devastating - we should remember.

Know what I mean, Madame President?
