Why does DU allow BS supporters to use GD to make their points?

I thought the primary wars were supposed to be limited to GD-P and GD was supposed to be a safe haven free of the political wars. Yet I have seen many Sanders supporters threads appearing in GD which are really attacks on HRC that are allowed to stay. The most recent is one headlined:

Chelsea's husband is a vivid illustration of crony capitalism.

I guess it would be OK then to post an attack on Jane Sanders in GD? and it won't be deleted or hidden?

I don't know what this refers to - I looked at the first page of threads and there isn't one that even remotely resembles this.
