1. I would like to agree but the differences are stark between 2008 and 2016

sanders is a guy who has never played nice, he is not a democrat and has done little to assist other democrats to win office. I am afraid his ego has the best of him. In 2008, at this same point between Hillary and Obama.....hillary changed her tone....sanders has only increased his attacks as well as his minions.....they have deluded themselves that they are leading a revolution within the democratic party to change it be more leftist and socialist.....with more purity and litmus test for who our candidates, voters and supporters can be.

I wish it wasn't true, but its becoming more apparent sanders intent is to flay hillary right up to the end....out ego? Out of rejection? Out being a sore loser? Out of spite for america?

who knows, but if we see trump in the whitehouse, the responsibility can and will be laid at the feet of sanders and his minions

2. Big difference- Clinton is and always has been a Democrat and a team player.

Sanders is an Independent, has never been a team player and has been hostile to the Democratic Party in its entirety.

Also, there's the issue of intelligence. Sanders really isn't that bright on any level.

His judgment and demeanor are poor.

He gets and takes terrible advice and has shown no capacity to admit errors or willingness to change course.

There was no question Clinton would ultimately eat her words and endorse Obama and stump for him. None.

Sanders? I seriously doubt he will. Maybe for once, he'll get over himself.

3. If we start from the premise, "Trump will never be president!"...

then we can see all this is the 'same old same old.'

I know PUMA's (relatives) who voted for McCain/Palin in 2008. In solid Red States where their vote didn't matter one iota.

Obviously, where it mattered the PUMA's had no impact or didn't vote against their own interests!

When it is just Hillary and Trump, all will become clear.

Until then, this Bernie thing is annoying. Which is probably the intent.

And Kornacki? In context, Hillary was pointing out how many Democratic primaries are contested into June. The mention of RFK was not "anything can happen" - it was a well-known reference point to how late the primaries often go.

But thanks for perpetuating another Hillary negative fiction.

5. I don't remember her trashing the Democratic Party

or pretending the results of every primary/caucus she lost were suspect due to Obama cheating. Steve Kornacki has seemed to me to be in the Bernie camp from the beginning so of course he would not want to think Sanders is more hurtful than 2008.

that Sanders is not more hurtful. He most certainly IS. You DON'T campaign against the party you're supposed to be a part OF, which is what he's doing.

I can't find anything. I was only 13 at the time, so I admit to not paying much attention.
