Inside Hillary Clinton’s aggressive new campaign plan

By Alex Seitz-Wald

When Jeb Bush gaffed, Hillary Clinton was ready.

Bush, a Republican presidential candidate, responded to a question on Planned Parenthood during an appearance Tuesday at the Southern Baptist Convention, noting that he defunded the women’s health group in Florida when he served as the state’s governor. But it was an offhanded remark he added afterward that may haunt him for much of his campaign: “I’m not sure we need half a billion dollars for women’s health issues.”

Bush’s campaign said he “misspoke,” but within an hour, Clinton’s campaign tweeted to its 4 million followers that Bush was “absolutely, unequivocally wrong.” And at an event in Denver later Tuesday night, the Democratic front-runner teed off on Bush in a lengthy riff toward the beginning of her speech. “Now, he’s got no problem giving billions of dollars away to the super wealthy and powerful corporations, but I guess women’s health just isn’t a priority for him,” Clinton said. ”The truth is, what Jeb said, the other candidates believe, too.”

She went on to spend the bulk of her short speech attacking the rest of GOP field on women’s health, immigration, and voting rights.

It’s just the latest sortie in the Clinton campaign’s newly aggressive strategy, which includes labeling Republican candidates as “out of touch and out of date” at every opportunity.

It was not long ago that the former secretary of state seemed eager to stay above the fray. She avoided uttering the names of any Republican candidates until early June, and the mere fact that she did so then, during a speech on voting rights in Texas, was notable and captured headlines............

Conservative values are about equal opportunity. If men and women have equal access to healthcare - and equal coverage - isn't that enough?

After all, men don't get pregnant, men don't have menstrual cycles, men don't have ovaries, men don't have 'functioning' breasts - equal coverage for all is fair.

Being 'female' is special coverage. And, you know, very expensive.

Do women even vote?

Conservative values. Another reason I am a lifelong Democrat! I know the enemy.

Joe: He has done his part. He needs to spend some time with his family.

Bernie: We need his loud partisanship in the Senate.

Hillary has got this: Unless Democrats shoot themselves in the foot by attacking her, splitting the vote, falling for the allegations.

History favors the GOP—usually after a two term president of one party, the people switch to the other side.

Our side is not the only side displeased with the "direction" the country is going. Each side is unhappy—but for a lot of different reasons.

So unless you want to risk making things worse—by handing the WH over to the GOP (they already control 2 of the 3 branches), it's a good idea to circle Hillary's wagon.

HRC scares the right wing for good reason. If Americans are smart enough not to fall for the lies and dirty tricks, she will make a huge difference for all lives. I think the people falling for the GOP propaganda that HRC is not liberal enough are low information and are easily manipulated by the right wing propaganda machine which attacks liberals from every angle because they have so much money to pay for the standard media and social media attacks.

Go Hillary. Keep the truth coming. Like Harry said, just tell the truth and Republicans think it's hell.

Love the way she came out in support of Planned Parenthood right away and put out that video.

She is in total kick-ass mode right now and I hope she keeps it up!
