Bernie has milked this cow for as long as he could. But the poor cow is now dry.

HRC currently has 1771 pledged delegates and 540 Super Delegates, total of 2309 delegates. Needs 2383 for the nomination. Difference 74 Delegates.

But leaving out the Super Delegates, because Bernie fans don't think they're fair unless they're in his column.

There are 806 remaining pledged delegates to win.

6/4/2016> Virgin Islands  Caucus...7
6/5/2016> Puerto Rico Caucus.......60
6/7/2016> California...................475
>>>>>>>Montana.....................21
>>>>>>>New Jersey.................126
>>>>>>>New Mexico................34
>>>>>>>North Dakota Caucus....18
>>>>>>>South Dakota.............. 20
6/14/2016 District of Columbia..... 20
TOTAL REMAINING DELEGATES 806

HRC needs 257, 22% of them to reach a majority (2026 out of a total of 4051 pledged delegates) to effectively shut Bernie down.

She needs 614 pledged delegates (those won in primaries) or 76% of the remaining 806 to win the nomination outright without super delegates. I think she will come pretty damn close. But with the Super delegates, she will have this wrapped up.

So whichever way you look at this our gal has got this lock, stock and barrel.

Bye, bye, Bernie Birdie, the Bern is now ashes.

Thanks to LiberalFighter (post#9) for pointing out I had included Super Delegates in my list of remaining delegates. I have adjusted my calculations accordingly.

In Britain cow is a slightly derogatory term for a woman.

5. Sanders is going after incumbent Democrats!

She is now up against the solidifying Republican machine and an insurgent anti-Democratic independent candidacy.

Sanders wants to de-legitimize Hillary's primary victory! Shades of "Birther" Trump!

I hope never to see or hear from Sanders when this is over...he has shown who he is and it is not pretty.

8. Democrats were correct in distrusting Sanders' candidacy. Most of us looked at how

he's excoriated Democrats and the Democratic Party in the past and got an "ick" feeling about him. Now we've been vindicated since he can't stop going after Democrats rather than Republicans. He would've gotten some validation for running as a Democrat had he focused his attacks on Republicans - especially helped President Obama with going after incumbent Republicans holding up everything but especially Merrick Garland in Congress - to show us that he truly is a Democrat worthy of our support. He hasn't. He kept up his asinine attacks on Democrats and rarely spoke about Republicans.

9. The numbers you have for pledged delegates includes the unpledged.

There are some that are wrong.
From The Green Papers. First column numbers are pledged. Second column are both.

VI -- 007 - 012
PR -- 060 - 067
CA -- 475 - 548
MT - 021 - 027
NJ -- 126 - 142
NM - 034 - 043
ND - 018 - 023
SD - 020 - 025
DC - 020 - 046

Totals - 781 - 933 (152 are unpledged of which 103 are already declared leaving only 49 not declared)

There are a total of 159 delegates that have not publicly declared of which about 20 have declared.
