Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumHere's the bottom line on the email server folks (Posted on GD-P)
The bottom line is that Hillary Clinton didn't break any laws and no government data, clasifiied or otherwise, was ever compromised. And by the way it was her freaking department so she can change the rules or ignore the rules if you so chooses. On that subject there is only one person that she has to answer to and that is President Obama, and I haven't heard him complain yet.
So Sanders supporters can just get over it. Those of you who are waiting for the FBI had to arrest Hillary Clinton in the middle of one of her rallies are in for a big disappointment. And you should be ashamed of yourselves for hoping that would happen so their guy would have a chance to win even though he lost in every conceivable way possible. So find yourself something new to write about and get on with your life. Your candidate lost so it does no good to continue to repeat Republican talking points at this stage of the game.
Regardless of whether you choose to ignore this advice, you have only about a week and a half to continue to peddle this nonsense on DU. I guess since we put up with it this long, we can put up with it just a little longer.

(30,058 posts)be the default nominee, doesn't work that way, Hillary's delegates are still her delegates, Sanders would not have enough delegates to be the nominee.

(50,950 posts)Basically, that it was the responsibility of those overseeing this. But even they didn't have the resources to make it happen. Outdated technology and software are a couple of problems. Even some of the more up to date software that is specific to the need may not be intuitive for some people. Especially if they don't spend much time with it.
Also, if I understand the report it only dealt with unclassified information. But others apparently are trying to suggest that it does.
For those peddling the nonsense of the OIG report it is all about bringing down a Democratic candidate by any means. When they do they are attacking the Democratic Party which in effect also harms other candidates throughout the party.

(4,302 posts)In the scheme of things, even if she broke the law (and I know she didn't but I'm just saying), I'll take a sketchy (yet un-hacked) email server over anything the Republicans have served up to date. You can't tell me that the powers that be didn't know she was using a private email server for all these years.
During all her amazing and ridiculously tireless accomplishments all these years serving this great nation, Donald J. Trump was crank calling television stations as "John Miller" to say women wanted to bang him.
In any sane universe that alone would disqualify him for the presidency.

(5,648 posts)I am growing tired of playing with the Sanders fans: maybe some of you guys might want to play with them for a while. But it was a lot of fun for a while.
