There is plenty to criticize Bernie for. This is not a reason to, though. He's a man in his seventies on a grueling schedule.

I don't think we need to do this. He dozed off--he's probably exhausted. Let's not be as petty as some folks on this board.

People will question his candidacy further, wondering if he can really handle the grueling schedule of the POTUS, a globally important figure.

At least he was there and I'm sure he's tired. I've been to those type ceremonies and they can be long with speakers who can go on and on.

If she did, she wouldn't get away with it without massive media coverage. As it is, it doesn't make Dems look good. He is #2 in nat'l leadership now, after all.

"If she did it, she wouldn't get away without massive media coveraget. "

Plus ALL that coverage would be negative AND most of it would be posted on DU.

So I don'r have much patience with letting Bernie sKate on this, even though I might personally concur that it is understandable.

He has been campaigning hard. I often wonder if he is even going to make it to the convention at the pace he is keeping. This is not something worth criticizing by Dems. let the GOPers and Trumpsters do it if they want to but it really should be beneath us do so.

The snark and criticism would be over the top. I don't know how either of them can keep up their schedules. But then again, Sec Clinton, is used to a very demanding schedule.

Sorry, no excuse from me, and I would snark if Hillary did it, too. So disrespectful to do at a MEMORIAL ceremony, especially when you are wide awake and cheering at a basketball game later in the day.
