Assuming for a moment that he's being truthful (about it being sarcasm), what he failed to recognize is that in the current battle arena that is GDP, almost nothing is off-limits. After the Stockholm Syndrome thread got dozens of recs and was in the conversation for days, and after dozens of threads about dumb "Deep South" Dems not knowing what's good for them, trying to pass something of a similar nature off as sarcasm is very difficult.
