She isnt as natural a politician as Barack Obama or Bill Clinton, but thats like saying Scottie Pippen isnt as talented as Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson. She is as good or better than just about everyone in the current GOP field.

(1,307 posts)She can hold her own with anyone and did quite well against Obama in 2008. Not the eloquence but she is no light weight compared to the others running.

(31,241 posts)be authentic. She's a highly competent and highly qualified presidential candidate. Some people need the glitz & glitter, or the feel of an old school tent revival to get motivated. Thank goodness, most Democrats don't feel that way.

(2,004 posts)Bill Clinton speech has an almost hypnotic impact. President Obama gives a good speech. However, I really have to disagree with the premise that Hillary is not a natural. In person she comes across better than President Obama. She is incredibly genuine and makes everyone in the room feel important. It is a rare talent that no one in the news media ever mentions, probably because the media people are still mad at her for when she was first lady and took away all the free goodies the Bushes gave out to them.
Hillary is a great politician and a great leader all on her own merits. It is why the right wingers are so desperate to stop her. I hope the Secret Service on their toes protecting her. It is going to get even worse than the hate circus generated against President Obama. Hillary will win and she will have coattails.
PS. I really dislike Wapo and the poor abused grey lady anymore, too many entitled fools who never stepped out of their upper class comfort zones.
