I just watched the DNC speeches. It cracks me up that Sanders suggests he is an outsider

He is pretending to be an outsider. He has been in government for decades, and in the do nothing Senate for years--and done nothing. He is pretending to be the newbie who will shake things up. Seriously.

His speech was an attempt to distance himself from the democrats to appease his independent followers. He is all politics. The rumblings we have been hearing from democrats are true: he has disdain for democrats and voiced it in the senate often.

He is a mediocre senator who will do the same for the Presidency that he has for the Senate.

Mostly he's what he appears to be, an angry old white guy with not much to offer but bitter rhetoric......and of course rainbows and pixie dust to make everything all better.

I'll stick with Clinton. She's pragmatic, is known for being able to reach across the aisle when necessity calls for it and she never, ever walks away from a fight. She occaisionally gets knocked around, but she always dusts herself off and comes back swinging.

What, we should "play nice" and not mention that the guy who is playing the "I'm the newbie" card has been in our tent for decades?

This is the HRC group, where honest discussions are still permitted. I haven't seen anyone calling Sanders a "doody head" or better still, a MURDERER (you can find a candidate being called that right on this board, gee, wonder who?).

What's untrue about this OP?

He caucuses with the Dems in exchange for committee clout. He is only pledged to vote with our crew on PROCEDURAL (housekeeping/administrative) matters; there is no whipping his vote when it comes to bills--he is his own agent in that regard.

He has run for executive office before--he ran to be governor of VT. He lost. FOUR times.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_history_of_Bernie_Sanders

The fact that he is not terribly helpful when it comes to issues even slightly outside his personal wheelhouse explains why those in the House or Senate are reluctant to reach out with a super delegate endorsement. One hand washes the other....

I have said this time & time again and I will say it once again. Stop reading this Group if you do not like what's being posted. We are NOT I repeat NOT going to change because you don't like what's being posted. The Hillary Clinton Hosts monitor this Group 24/7 and we know who's been naughty and we know who's been nice.

Ready to work with her as president, a relationship which will not have to be established.

I would have thought in the years Bernie has been in Congress some relationships would have been established. The other thought is those who have endorsed Hillary knows her record and experience is better.

His long time reteric hasn't changed much he totally lost my support along time ago when he wanted President Obama to have a primary opponent.
To the writer who criticized what we write on the HRC site They need to stick with the Bern site there's plenty of nasty below the belt comments against who we support.

Democrats know differently. There ain't enough Liberals/Libertarians to get BS the Democratic nomination. They'll try though, especially in states where so-called "independents" get to screw around in either party's primary process.
