Where Hillary Clinton is concerned, nothing ever changes.

The National Bitch Hunt has been going on for more than 20 years. As a personal matter, the inimitable Camille Paglia set the terms in a long ago essay in The New Republic portraying Clinton as a “man-woman…bitch goddess,” and “the drag queen of modern politics.”

Crackpot New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd has taken up the theme with a vengeance, writing literally scores of columns depicting the former Secretary of State as a cunning schemer. One week Clinton’s a Stepford Wife, then she’s Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction, next Mommie Dearest.

This is what happens when the Heathers at the Cute Girls lunch table suspect you’re smarter than they are. Paglia’s particularly troubled by “the brittle brilliance of Hillary’s calculating, analytical mind.”

I’m betting they’ve never met.

Hillary. I heard the "DNC Advisor" Bill Kristol say on Morning Joe to run Elizabeth Warren, why because they will chew her up in a day. I like Warren but she would not be able to take the GOP Attack machine like Hillary can.

the Noise Machine is absolutely brilliant at trying to destroy any leading Democrat. They have nothing, but blow it up into something that looks like something. Destroying Democrats has become an end in itself for the Rovians.

Bad enough their people buy it but some of us are stupid enough to buy it.

What creeps me out is that if you think Obama's put up with insane hatred, imagine what they'll come up with for Hillary if she's President.

4. That was a good read.

I loved the "Heathers at the Cute Girls lunch table" line. That is exactly the attitude I see when I see Andrea Mitchell talk about HRC. This is a just another example of Mitchell and Dowd being incredibly jealous of another woman who they realize is far beyond their intellectual capabilities. Those two never grew out of their teenage personalities. Paglia is just, well, there is just no excuse for her, ick.

Clinton took all questions, answered them with poise, confidence and exuded competence. She made the news media horde look like the fools they are. I thought it was telling on Rachel Maddow's show, the clips of the press conference were of Clinton taking questions, but none of her answers were shown except for one extremely short clip. She did so well, the news media cannot show any video of her complete answers. Maddow has jumped the shark in that show with her kowtowing to the vile toad, Mitchell, and not showing any of Clinton's complete answers to the questions. Maddow must need to toe the line to keep working for the right wing Comcast/GE cabal. The right wing is desperate to stop HRC. They know she will work for the American people, despite all the propaganda that she is in the pocket of corporations.
