(42,862 posts)He is, and always will be, an angry old coot. At this point in his career, he should have learned the difference between what type of tone is appropriate at a rally, and the type of tone that's appropriate for a debate, and how he needs to be during a one-on-one interview-style forum.
His supporters try to spin his behavior as being "passionate" (as one would expect they'd do) and simultaneously try to spin Hillary's demeanor as "boring" or "fake" or "rehearsed" (again, no surprise there).
Frankly, I'd much prefer a US president who knows how to remain calm and collected when appearing on the world stage and when dealing with other countries' leaders. (See: Benghazi Hearings)
I actually WANT a leader who is fully prepared and knows the facts ("rehearsed" and who is calm and confident ("boring" and who understands the importance of diplomacy ("fake" .
People who see Hillary's qualities as negatives, and who see Bernie's blusterous anger as positives are fooling themselves. This helps to explain the behavior of some of his worst supporters.
Bernie's angry and finger-wagging demeanor may work (?) in Congress, but I fear that he'd be as embarrassing as GWB was when he was out in the real world.
