Garrison Keillor to join Clinton’s Minnesota fundraiser

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will hold a Minnesota fundraiser next week with Prairie Home Companion’s Garrison Keillor and other supporters, according to an invitation.

The Clinton campaign announced last month that the candidate would stop in Minnesota for a public event on Dec. 15. Details of that (or those) events have not yet been made public.

The Keillor fundraiser will add to Clinton’s already heavy Minnesota-gathered coffers.

The former U.S. Secretary of State has already raised more money in Minnesota ($857,180) than all of the Republican candidates for president combined ($657,561), according to Federal Election Commission records.................

7. The John Lewis trashing moved me from lean Clinton to solid Clinton.

And don't forget about Howard Dean and Sherrod Brown.

There's a lot to like about Sanders from an issues perspective, but the supporters he's attracting not only turns me off, but also doesn't give me great confidence in his ability to run a successful campaign.

Fortunately, I expect this all to be over a lot sooner than people are expecting - Super Tuesday at the absolute latest.
