Hillary is right--Every candidate needs to release them --not just Hillary. This is another Double Standard put out by Sanders fans--them DEMANDING that Hillary release her speech transcripts but not demanding it of Sanders.


Yesterday Sanders himself said he was not going to ask for the release. But he has the media and his fans do the dirty work. This may come back to haunt him.

I’m getting a little bit weary of the double standard. Let’s release what everybody has ever said. There are a lot of people on both sides. If we’re going to start saying what you did while you were out of public office, or in the private sector, fair game. Release it all. Everybody.

But once again, I’m being asked to do something for which there is no basis, just the attempt to cast suspicion. I said we’ll look into it, and we’ll look into it. But what’s good for the gander should be good for the goose.

I’m not thinking about it until I get through New Hampshire, to be honest. I want to get through tomorrow, and then it’s going to be very boring for people, once it is done, under whatever circumstances.

1. They left out the truly weird part of the interview

where after Hillary talks about her supporters that are being attacked Rachel then makes it about herself and says she is being equally attacked by both BS and HRC supporters?????

What? Rachel is not an HRC supporter so who says what to her is not relevant.

This interview proves just how self-centered and emotionally juvenile she is.

4. I've lost

much of my respect for and interest in Maddow lately. She was throwing puppy and kitten questions at Bernie, and now stuff like this.

3. There is no need for Sanders to release his transcripts

He has had just one speech for 30 years. It has been repeated so many times that I could be a stand-in for him and give the same speech verbatim.

5. She has been held to a different standard

Perhaps a tit-for-tat approach would help. Every time she is accused of something, asked for "proof" of some kind, criticized, or has some nugget from the past thrown back at her--we should just turn it back on whoever (sanders or Republicans) that are responsible for it. They all have character flaws, bad votes, and accusations of some kind they would not appreciate having thrown at them, and none except for HC and CF know what it is like to be women and to deal with overt sexism. CF, unfortunately sold herself and her gender out for power, and she won't get any and will have to live with her disgrace forever "a special place in Hell..." (Albright).
It should be said, too, that it would only be fair if the same standard were applied to them. Sock it to 'em!
