Wailing and gnashing of teeth VS excitement and joy
Do you hear it over "there"? I know most of us can't stomach the pit that is GD-P, but if you happen to venture into that place you will see more and more angry and incendiary threads. More and more posters are screaming about how they "can't stand her!" and how she will ruin the party, the country, the WORLD!
Do you hear it over here? The calm and happy tones of Clinton supporters. The ones who know their candidate is the only Democrat in the race. The ones who are confident in their candidate's abilities in ALL things presidential. The ones who have little doubt that their candidate will seal this race in a few days.
Do you see the desperate act of desperate people who will do anything to silence the opposition? The alert stalking of long time members such as Stopbush is a fine example of silencing the opposition. The inability of Sanders supporters to remain in the rest of DU and not encroach on this safe space is another sign of desperation. They are angry and afraid and sad.
I'm sorry they are so sad, but they have built a straw man in their caricature of Hillary. It is easy to burn that straw man down. Who wouldn't want to destroy such an evil straw man? They can't believe that everyone doesn't want to do the same.
My friends, we are hearing the wailing and seeing the gnashing of teeth because it is almost over for them. The bitterness will continue for awhile and the aggression will increase. We must wait it out because we know Hillary will win this thing very soon.
My suggestion....
Let us begin to think about the general here in the Hillary forum. Let us embrace the inevitable (while still fighting for the nomination). Perhaps we can get Chichiri to help us look at GE probabilities against Trump and/or Rubio. Perhaps we start discussing potential running mates. Perhaps we cheer the state by state polls for the primary while simultaneously preparing for the General.
That is where the big fight will be. Sanders will fade into history soon and his supporters will come on board or get off the board. Either way we still need to get ready for the big fight.
Those with ears to see and minds to do the math all agree that Hillary will be our nominee. Let's make sure Hillary is our President by starting today to prepare for the future fight.

Let's clean this thing up during March and press on to the General Election!

Let me add, I think that we need to stay positive w/o gloating. The other candidate's supporters will be experiencing denial, anger and depression. But when that's over I hope that they will back the Democratic nominee. The stakes are too high this election.
