11. Misinformation

I guess that's my major beef on what I see on the boards. I hate the idea of closing down discussion or blocking people willy-nilly. On the other hand I'm reading a lot of deliberate misinformation and smears when it comes to the St Bernard Brigade. That doesn't help Bernie Sanders or his message. It's idiotic to suggest that Planned Parenthood should be kicked to the curb or maligned because they support Hillary Clinton. Why wouldn't they? HRC's major focus throughout her career, both in and out of politics, has been on women and children. It was just as foolish for Bernie Sanders to suggest the group is part of the Establishment. As Hillary replied, " Really, Senator Sanders?"

I feel the same way when posters make personal assaults on others, trying to dismiss or malign Hillary Clinton's positions on a variety of issues.

I'm new to DU so I know my opinion does not hold much weight. But it saddens me when I see presumed Democrats go completely off the rails. Even when it comes to issuing poll numbers, Bernie supporters go totally ape. As if wishful thinking were a strategy.

Speaking as one voice, I'll be glad when Super Tuesday comes and goes. Then the reality of where we are, as well as our future nominee will be clear at least to the reasonable among us. I suspect there will be continued complaints but for all sensible purposes it will be over but for the weeping.
