The whole point of getting Hillary's transcripts . . .

. . . is so that her opponents can comb through them and see if there's anything politically damaging to her that they can use.

Those opponents aren't calling for every other candidate to release their transcripts because they're not interested in them, or they don't have the same concern with them as with Hillary. While it's their prerogative not to care, there are people who do care. I, for instance, would like to comb through Ted Cruz's pulpit addresses, if he has given any.

So Hillary is absolutely right not to release her transcripts unless everyone else does. There's simply no objective reason to hold her to a different standard, and if she released them without everyone else agreeing to do the same, she's basically admitting that that's okay, it's fine to hold her to a different standard. It's inconvenient, to be sure, to be attacked for not releasing them -- but if you only adhere to principles when convenient, they become meaningless.

She'll release her transcripts when Trump does, and both Trump and Sanders release their tax returns (including their wives if they file separately, of course). We have decades of Clinton tax returns.

... I would really like to know how Bernie - whose per annum income wildly exceeds mine, and has for decades - has a net worth lower than mine.

My only real asset is my house, which has (thankfully) risen in value over the thirty years since I bought it. My annual household income has never come remotely close to Bernie's, nor do I have his pension plan, or the financial perqs he's had as a long-time holder of political office.

So how is it that my net worth surpasses his?

Our net worth is higher than Bernie's and our income is not near as high as Bernie's. How did that happen.

Was reported, in 2015 a net worth of $800,000 was reported. I know a home increases in value but even with a big increase the increase in his net worth in a year was more than double his salary in a year.

... only became an "issue" when it started becoming apparent that Bernie's chances of winning the nomination were rapidly declining.

The BS supporters are hoping for a "gotcha" statement that will damage HRC, because a major scandal that knocks her down is Bernie's only hope of getting ahead.

It's also why the BSers keep posting about emails and servers, and refer to "Hillary's probable indictment" - because they HAVE NOTHING ELSE to pin their hopes on.

It's kind of sad that the Great Revolution that never happened is now down to pinning hopes on something as flimsy as speech transcripts.

The fact that the clamour to obtain them becomes more shrill with every new poll showing Hill's commanding lead in upcoming primary contests says it all.

His fund raiser conversations so we could see if those conversations influenced his voting. We know he said he voted against the immigration bill because LULAC did not like the bill so he has said he is influenced by one group probably more.

If they can find some completely out-of-context remark that will make a good nasty sound-bite, they will run with it to the moon.

They're still looking for something like that in her emails.

It's really a testament to how careful--and how clean--she is that they really haven't been able to find anything.

They keep releasing the emails in batches, so each time they release some it makes the news and there's wild speculation about "this time, there really is a bombshell here!" -- but it never materializes.
