Bill Maher blew up at the #BlackLivesMatter protester who crashed a Hillary Clinton fundraiser this week and said to her and every other #BlackLivesMatter protester that Clinton is not the racist here.

He said they’re acting “purer” than everyone else, pointing out that a significant percentage of Donald Trump‘s own supporters actually disagree with the Emancipation Proclamation, and asking bewilderedly, “This is where you start the battle? You fucking idiots!”

Michael Eric Dyson pushed back and argued that the movement knows Republicans “don’t give a flying damn” about their issues. Mark Ruffalo added that they’re trying to make sure the party that’s supposed to be on their side actually follows through.

Maher still insisted that if they’re going to be fighting the Democrats so much and ignore the Republicans, they’re gonna end up with President Donald Trump.

Things got a little heated when Ruffalo pointed out the protester at the Clinton event was the only black person there. Maher asked, “Do they have to be everywhere giving you money?!”

Ruffalo jumped a little and Maher took a moment to complain about him taking offense at him using the word “they.”

I think BLM protests Democrats because the message will get more traction than with the trogs on the right.

7. In the GD-P forum

there was a thread where it was pointed out that she was funded by Cornel West, who works for Bernie Sanders. That's why she went after Hillary and ignores Bernie. It was a campaign strategy to try to impact the African American vote. Obviously didn't work.

I'm all for BLM keeping people honest, not when they are an operative or a particular campaign. I had a sinking feeling that's why she showed up days before the vote today.
