There is a small impeller pump in the drain line to speed the drain before spin and it locked up
Took the line out and jamming the pump is you guessed it a sock
The socks exit the washer but you dont notice until you fold after the dryer

Lots of Bernie's supporters will support Hillary in November because they will recognize the alternative. There wil be a faction of them, some here on DU, who will not. But my feeling is that they are the types who supported Nader over Gore in 2000 and they are purists who can't be reached. They would rather the counry have a bad GOP president than an unpure Democratic president and then the people they claim to feel for will face the consequences of that decision.

8 years missing? I am the sock purchaser in my family. I love when I find socks in the laundry that I know I did not buy. I started taking pictures of them and putting them on FB, sometimes they get claimed.

My daughter came home for Christmas this year, it had been 6 months since her last visit. The day before she came home I found a black sock in the laundry that I knew wasn't mine. I threw it on my dresser. She came into my room, saw the sock and asked me where I found her missing sock, she had been looking for it forever.

My guess is socks hate me. It hid somewhere until it knew it had a way out. They also love to torture me. When I finally throw away a single sock, the mate shows up within a week.
