As she told the young Bernie supporter at the town hall, "you may not vote for me, but I'll fight for you."

"Before I briefly explain my story allow me to first say this: I am so very sorry. I understand written content cannot convey emotions very well–but my level of conviction has me in tears as I write this.
I was so very wrong. So very very wrong.

You saved my life. I want that to sink into your ears and mind. My President, you saved my life, and I am eternally grateful."

Mr. Brent Nathan Brown, thank you for showing us humanity is still alive and well in our lives.

And this is why I will forever be an "Obama girl." While I'm a Hillary supporter now, in 2008 I was an enthusiastic Obama supporter (although I could not vote yet). I recognized in him a quality that sets him apart. You just know that he is always the smartest guy in the room. I have not always agreed with all of his actions, but I've always TRUSTED him to use his best discernment and to try his best.

And while my support for Hillary did not come so quickly or so easily, I now have a similar trust in her. She has not always done things that I like (it took me a long time to get over her IWR vote and Libya is a mark against both of them in my book), but I do trust her to be smart, thoughtful, and generally well intentioned.

I suspect many of Hillary's haters will find themselves in similar positions one day, where they regret their previous hatred and recognize that she turned out to be a pretty fine president.
