Simmons and Rick Rubin Fundamentally changed the perception of rap music, expanding the music Genre's listening base throughout the country.

Russell Simons, The larger than life hip hop legend and co- founder of def Jam Entertainment, endorsed Hillary Clinton this morning. Simmons had given 1500 dollars to Martin O'malley's campaign this past summer and had been in contact with Vermont Senator Bernie sanders. In the end, he decided on the former Secretary of state. With Steve Harvey's endorsement on Tuesday, Clinton continues to build on her robust support from the African-American community. Congratulations to Hillary.
