Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSo when would you switch DU to a GE setting ala DKos? (HRC Group)
For me it is not a set day. When I feel the conversation changes from "She might be indicted!" to "We want her indicted!" would be the day I say no more and convert DU to general election rules.

(15,369 posts)I believe that there is no depth to which DU has not already sunk w/r/t Hillary. But I could be wrong. It could possibly get worse.
I don't really care WHEN an improvement happens. I only care THAT it happens.

(7,286 posts)In my mind "she might be indicted" = " we want her indicted"
The horse was let out of the barn after Iowa. Now the horse is running free and the barns on fire. And nobody would even piss on it to put the fire out

(4,667 posts)Take the percentage at which the second place candidate is polling nationally, per the 538 average. Add a "buffer" of fifteen or twenty percent. When the first place runner's delegate lead over second place exceeds that percentage of all remaining delegates, I think it's safe to call it.
For example, if Bernie is polling at 37.5% nationally, we increase that to 57.5%. After Puerto Rico votes on June 5th, there are 714 delegates remaining, 57.5% of which is 410. If Hillary's lead is at least 410 delegates on June 5th, we can call it for her.
