Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forum(Hillary Clinton Group) Want to do something positive and fun to support Hillary Clinton?
Hello, DU Hillary Clinton Group.
EarlG and I wanted to do something positive and fun to support Hillary's campaign for president, and after much consideration we decided to to this:
HillaryMojo is a little project we started a few weeks back. We've spent the last few weeks fine-tuning and posting stuff, trying to figure out the overall tone and substance of the site.
The focus, above everything else, is to be fun and positive. To provide a place where Hillary Clinton supporters feel welcome, and feel good about supporting Hillary for president. We poke fun at Republicans from time-to-time, but we have no interest in attacking our fellow Democrats. I have always been a proud Democrat, I like all of our presidential candidates, and I want the site to reflect that.
If you think this is a worthy project, we'd like you to join us. We think the time has come to let people know about the site so we can share our enthusiasm for Hillary.
For now, we are still learning how the software works (it's WordPress). We need people to start joining up and posting comments so we can figure out how the software works, and also get some feedback about what kinds of posts people respond to. For now, we have the software set up so that EVERY COMMENT NEEDS ADMIN APPROVAL before it gets posted to the site. We want all the comments on the site to be consistent with the site's goal of fun and positivity, and we're not going to pass anything through that falls short of that ideal. Negative comments about Democrats, and even overly harsh comments about Republicans are not going to be permitted.
We are putting a big focus on social media. We are trying to create content that is fun and shareable, so if you find something you like on HillaryMojo you can help us out by sharing it with your friends.
You can also help out by following HillaryMojo on social media:

PS. I love the MOJO! Though I'm still absorbing it!

Fortune is running a series of profiles of the top women on Hillary Clintons 2016 campaign. The series began yesterday with a profile of Mandy Grunwald.
The series continues today with a profile of Karen Finney.

The Hillary Mojo site is moving along fast, as far as I can see.
Looks like the Admins were paying attention to what was going on and decided to take the high road.
That's what we need to do here if we want to keep the White House in 2016!
Have a good evening, KMOD!

(17,149 posts)I supported her campaign here in California, and made several posts about her on DU. She's destined for a high position in Hillary's administration, and she'll be a Democratic star.
Thanks for Hillary Mojo, Skinner! I hope it will be monitored by the admins and the members to keep it a nice place.
When the soup gets too thick to swim in over here, we've got a welcome respite now.

(15,374 posts)We Dems are SO fortunate to have three excellent candidates (Hillary, Bernie & Martin) to choose from, any one of whom is far better than all of the GOPers - current and future - combined!
I am a staunch Hillary supporter and will continue to be throughout the 2016 primary season.
But I would be proud to support either of the other two fine candidates, should Hillary not win enough primaries to be the Dem candidate.

(63,645 posts)We have been enjoying it very much, but it quickly became clear that we did not have enough time in the day to give it the level of attention it needs, while also running DU.
At this point we think the best way forward is to try to set aside someplace on Democratic Underground where the admins (and other interested DUers) can create something positive and fun. Lord knows this website needs it. We learned a lot from running HillaryMojo for a very short time, and we want to bring some of what we learned back to DU.
Not sure if HillaryMojo is done or just on hiatus. Whatever happens, we simply don't have the resources to do it at the level we had hoped.

(20 posts)An underestimated challenger, Bernie Sanders is approaching from behind. I encourage all Hillary supporters to also check out what Bernie Sanders has to say! Hillary has a long record of flip-flopping depending in what the public sentiment is. Bernie has a sense of authenticity about him. Check him out!

So I came over here to see how you guys are doing. You're doing GREAT! I don't see any bad-assing of Bernie. I'm so proud of you. In case you didn't know, I support both major Democratic candidates. Now as far as the Bernie supporters go, I'm just not going to say anything.
