Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumDon't listen to the rhetoric.
I have more than 500 facebook friends. Today I am seeing Republican woman turned off by Trump now voting for Hillary. I have Bernie supporters eager to move on and focus on beating Trump. I have undecided Obama voters going for Hillary... We will be fine. As proven yesterday, DU does not represent the majority of Americans.

(4,451 posts)My facebook peeps are already eager to support Hillary. What we have seen in Trump... No one is taking chances. Well some DU'ers are but it's rhetoric...

(27,816 posts)I have hundreds of FB friends, the majority of which are people I "met" here on DU years ago.
Most of them stopped posting on DU a long time ago due to the endless Obama and Dem bashing that was allowed here after 2008.
Those who are now BS supporters invariably post positive things about Bernie - I've not seen one of them post anything anti-HRC, anti-Dem Party, nor anything to do with the "system being rigged" to favour HRC, vote fraud, etc.
In addition, I have a RL friend of 35-years standing who is active in the Sanders campaign in Michigan. When I sent him a few links to what was being posted by Bernie-supporting DUers, he was astounded. He said the people he's been working with are totally focused on getting the vote out for Bernie, and Hillary is barely even mentioned.
What I've drawn from this is two things: (1) BS supporters who are NOT affiliated with DU are solely focused on the merits of their candidate-of-choice rather than on demonizing HRC or promoting conspiracy theories about the Party, and (2) BS supporters in RL have absolutely no resemblance to BS supporters on DU.
Today I have seen a few BSers on my FB feed weighing-in on last night's events. It's about a 50/50 split right now between "Bernie can still win this" and "it's time to get behind Hillary". But either way, there is no rancor - there is no "HRC is stealing this election" - there is no "the Party is trying to shut up Bernie supporters", etc. It is simply down to how many votes each candidate is garnering and, as a result thereof, who will be the Dem nominee to get behind when all is said and done.
