Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumHi everyone! Back after a month and a half or so. Did I miss anything?
Last time I was here, Hillary had just won a tight Iowa victory, which Bernie fans were describing as a "loss", and Bernie was about to take NH.
According to the predictions of Bernie fans at the time, the following things must have happened since then.
--After seeing a few pics from the 60s and listening to Cornel West, AA voters will be cured of their Stockholm Syndrome
--Latino voters will understand that Dolores Huerta is a scam artist, and flock to Bernie in Nevada
--Bernie is going to win everywhere except for a few former confederate states.
--After Super Tuesday, the race turns Bernie friendly, and by March 15, Bernie will be tied or even ahead.
So how did that all go?

(30,058 posts)ways and change over to Bernie. I guess even Bill Clinton will change over and then he will only need 1500+ pledged delegates if all the super delegates went to Sanders.

Ohio was the wild card win that allows Clinton to shift her gaze forward
snip//
"Hillary Clinton's wins tonight effectively ended the Democratic nomination for president, said Brad Woodhouse, the president of Correct the Record. It is all but mathematically impossible for Bernie Sanders to overtake her lead. Her message is resonating and hers is the real revolution--a revolution that will break down barriers and that will get things done for the American people."
But if Florida was a bonanza that widened the delegate gap between them, Ohio was the wild card win that allowed Clinton to shift her gaze forward -- her 13-point victory represented a staggering blow to Sanders, who was not able to translate his economic message and opposition to foreign trade deals into success in Ohio and Illinois. In the other industrial Midwestern states to vote Tuesday, Clinton held a slight lead in Missouri with 99 percent of the vote in."

(3,290 posts)I found myself many times reading an op and wondering where the comments were from some of my favorites. It seems much better now, especially not dreading the front page. Kind of like a moth drawn to a flame I would glance over and see the the same crap day after day from the same posters and start off my day angry. This is much better for my early mood.

(14,400 posts)It's all over because you weren't here to stop it. Everything they said happened like clockwork.
You should have seen the epic wins he pulled off in Florida and North Carolina.
Or maybe not.

(32,623 posts)As you know if you've read the board at all
1. Because of our cult's success the country is doomed for all eternity
2. As oligarchs and billionaires we destroyed our last chance to save the working man
3. Obama, Biden, Dean, Lewis, Sherrod Brown, Warren, about 500 super delegates and most of the Democratic party are in on it with us.
4. The -and this is exciting- media is totally in our pocket now
So it's been GREAT

(11,417 posts)See Bernie is going to win all those up coming winner take all primaries. Especially he is going to win all the delegates in CA and waltz into the convention and demand that everyone write his talking points into the platform.
Then he is going to demand allegiance to the revolution from all of Hillary's super delegates.

(24,396 posts)He's so popular that the Rs have tagged him as their alternative candidate in the Stop Trump movement. He'll be running against himself this fall, just as soon as all the pledged delegates have their "come to Bernie" moment and decide that purity, goodness and political perfection is what the electorate wants this year. That, and free stuff.
Be sure to send $27 to Bernie this week if you want him to send you your new Mercedes in time for Easter. Send $30 if you want your comprehensive insurance paid for the next 4 years.
