And, Hillary is still Winning. I just posted that she has the M$M, the BS, & the GOP against her and she will beat them all. Why aren't the Sunday Shows inviting Hillary to be on? Why so much BS exposure and that other one, trump? Hmmmm? Afraid she'll show them up.. like she does in the debates?

(11,617 posts)They have stuck just the same and proving otherwise just annoys the heck out Sanders' supporters. Then they keep right on making the same false claims
Can't wait for Sanders to go back to the Senate and his supporters will have to deprogram.

(297,722 posts)BS getting no exposure on national tv and Hillary getting so much.. this would not be as close as it is.
If he didn't have so much exposure to bash her constantly. Although I do know that turns people off.

Journalists don't like Hillary Clinton
But the press hates to admit this. For Clinton, good news is never just good news. Instead it's an opportunity to remind the public about the media's negative narratives about Clinton and then to muse on the fact that her ratings somehow manage to hold up despite these narratives.
Here's how the Wall Street Journal wrote up an earlier poll showing Clinton beating all opponents:"Hillary Clinton's stature has been battered after more than a month of controversy over her fundraising and email practices, but support for her among Democrats remains strong and unshaken, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds."
And here's how the New York Times wrote up yet another poll showing Clinton beating all opponents:"Hillary Rodham Clinton appears to have initially weathered a barrage of news about her use of a private email account when she was secretary of state and the practices of her family's foundation, an indication that she is starting her second presidential bid with an unusual durability among Democratic voters."
This framing is not surprising, since, among journalists, Clinton is one of the least popular politicians. She is not forthcoming or entertaining with the press. She doesn't offer good quotes. She doesn't like journalists, respect what we do, or care to hide her disdain for the media. She feels that the right-wing press has tried to destroy her for decades, that the mainstream press got played like a cheap fiddle by the conservative press, and that even the liberal press was overwhelmingly hostile to her during her 2008 campaign.

(2,897 posts)She's neutral, but the BS supporters hound her consistently for stating simple facts. Shaun King (ugh) tried to come for her today after she pointed out simple delegate math and it wasn't even the "Bernie needs this*" argument. It was the "Bernie still wouldn't be winning if he had the supers from his state and Hillary had hers". Apparently, the notion that Bernie would be in the lead if he had the super delegates from his state is making the rounds. Then after being roundly silenced, he tried to go after her by accusing MSNBC of "riding hard for Hillary". Ugh, I can't stand that dude.
Cha

Shaun King

If Sanders had the superdelegate votes that Clinton currently has, hed be winning this race with 1,444 total delegates to Clintons 1,272.

(297,722 posts)I did in 2000. I would be so pissed.
My sister in California watches the political shows.. that's how she follows politics.. and how she got to know berniesanders. She thinks he's arrogant and egotistical.
So at least one person doesn't like what she sees over and over and over again.

(13,783 posts)I think I've heard that they are careful to avoid situations that might degenerate into a focus on rebutting Hillary Hater attacks. I'm not sure Sunday morning would be worse on that front than debates or town halls. Just a thought.

(1,630 posts)to the berniacs because they are addicted to him. Anytime he isn't being broadcast from a rally or an interview, they go into immediate withdrawal until he appears again to relieve their distress. Maybe after the election he can be a commentator on a cable channel and his true believers can get their daily dose of bernie. That might be a better job considering the reception he is likely to get when he returns to the Senate. He is going to go very quickly from prophet to pariah. And that has gotta burn.

(2,897 posts)Would show Bernie Sanders yelling the same speech that he's been yelling for the last year or so over and over again (with the trade angle that he slips in and out depending on the state). Yes, he gets big crowds. So what. The only speech they should cover from the guy is his individual concession speech.
