Sensitivity Training: Bernie's Meltdown Over Hillary's Truth Telling Exposes Nature of a Bully

http://www.thepeoplesview.net/main/2016/4/1/sensitivity-training-bernies-meltdown-over-being-called-out-for-lies-exposes-hallmark-of-bully

The Sanders campaign is demanding that Hillary Clinton apologize for telling the truth. They and their supporters are having an absolute meltdown over the fact that Hillary Clinton called them out on crafty lies they have been telling about her, and as a consequence, they can no longer furnish that lie without explanation.

At issue is Sanders' longstanding accusation that Hillary Clinton "takes money from the fossil fuel industry." Approached by an aggressive Greenpeace activist about that talking point from the Sanders camp Secretary Clinton finally called out Sen. Sanders, saying, "I do not. I take money from people who work for companies. I am so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about me."
Under any reasonable person theory, taking money from an industry would mean taking direct contributions from the companies or their PACs, which the Clinton campaign does not do. Her presidential campaign takes money, as does Sen. Sanders, from individuals, who work for certain employers. Given his own contributors who work in the fossil fuel industry, it's doubtful Sanders is in favor of restricting the rights of citizens to give to their candidate of choice because of their employer. Nor has Sen. Sanders returned the money from those individuals, making it just a tad hypocritical for him to be challenging contributions made by other individuals to other candidates
Bernie Sanders is going to need to do more than cry about being called out in a fight he picked. Expect the call-outs from the Clinton camp to get stronger, not softer should Bernie choose to continue with his lying..

when what he is saying can so clearly be disproved AND when he has also received the same kinds of contributions that Hillary has will hopefully cause the scales to fall from the eyes of some.

And yes, this is getting ugly.

And all his bluster and lies won't matter because their will be too much pressure for him to end his campaign once again that darn math just won't go away.

"...Campaigns are prohibited from taking money directly from corporations, but Clinton has received donations from employees of oil and gas companies..."

Why is it so hard to believe that there are employees at any and all levels of corporations, of all sizes, who think either Sanders or Clinton would be a great candidate and want to contribute? And especially when the total $ value of all such contributions from employees in the fossil fuel industry across the entire country is far less than a half million $, I see no evidence that the employers forced employees or gave them $ on behalf of the corp., to contribute in any amounts then violate the law by checking the box verifying that the contribution was from an individual. Would critics prefer that NO individuals be allowed to contribute to the candidates of their choice? If so Sanders would have no financing and all candidates who aren't billionaires personally would be wholly "owned" by PACs, etc.

I don't like the sloppy and misleading phrase "the industry gave X", because that also implies a corporate or concerted donation to a campaign, which is illegal per fact.check.

No wonder HC was indignant about these repeated lies (and hypocrisy on the part of some parties in the Sanders campaign).

"the oil & gas industry." Now he's got to answer for donations he accepted and didn't return. And when he can't, he'll be labeled a hypocrite.

Have fun with that, Bernie. Play with a double-edged sword and you'll cut yourself.

HE signed the pledge. She didn't. That's what the confrontation was about, on its face, anyway. So in taking anything, he's violating his pledge.

She usually doesn't bother, and they have been getting bolder with their lies. She prefers to stick to the policy issues, but it is time to put an end to the Sanders nonsense.
