Only on Guam

Where America's day begins....
Dear Guam....you're awesome! I salute you and your 4,000 years of history and culture, and celebrate your participation in the selection of your future President. I wish you could vote in the general election, too. Hope I can come visit some day.

from the pictures my dad took back in the 50s and 60s.

Funny, my niece was there for a tour of duty and returned stateside last summer and yesterday gave birth to her first child... who was conceived on Guam. Interesting there's a promo of the place here.

Are you from Guam or do you live there? It looks beautiful, as most islands in that region of the planet... I am not a coastal person anymore, I grew up along the north Atlantic and spent years along the Pacific but I just don't feel comfortable at sea level anymore. Must be an aging thing.

And thank you re: my niece's newborn. I talked to her mother yesterday and it is a boy, gonna be tall, born in the first hour after midnight. Can't wait to meet him.

9. No, I've never been there, but it made me mad to hear that jerk try to marginalize them.

Ironically, the bernouts have been trying to sell a meme that our pride in the support HRC has earned among African Americans is tantamount to dismissing Asians, Pacific Islanders, and other communities. Of course it makes no sense and couldn't be further from the truth, but I have given up looking for logic in anything that comes out of Camp Roof's-on-fire.

a few years ago.

Very Catholic culture! Saw a lot of nuns in their TV. People were very friendly. The whole place is also very Americanized. Think people had high BMI/obesity rates!

BTW I also saw high BMI/obesity rates in Saudi Arabia, just saying!

GUAM votes Saturday May 7, Closed Caucus.

10. HRC receives 3 Guam endorsements ahead of their May 7 primary

Go Guam! Thanks for doing your part to help elect the next President Clinton!

http://www.postguam.com/news/local/hillary-clinton-receives-three-guam-endorsements/article_c826e588-0df8-11e6-b509-2fdbd7b59c36.html

..."Three of Guam’s key Democratic leaders have announced their endorsement of Hillary Clinton for U.S. president, ahead of the island’s May 7 caucus between the former secretary of state and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
“I strongly endorse Hillary Clinton for president,” said Guam Delegate Madeleine Bordallo through a press release issued by Hillary for America, Clinton’s official campaign. “There is no one more prepared to tackle the challenges that face our next president more than Hillary.”

“It is an honor and a privilege to endorse Secretary Hillary Clinton,” said Taling Taitano, Democratic national committeewoman for Guam.

“Hillary Clinton has the strength, compassion and principled leadership that we need in a president,” said Sen. Rory Respicio, Democratic national committeeman for Guam. “She is knowledgeable about the issues important to the people of Guam, and she will be a great leader for the nation.”

The triple endorsement comes on the wings of several critical East Coast primary victories for Clinton on Tuesday. With Clinton winning four out of five state primary contests and furthering a massive lead in both pledged and unpledged delegates, Sanders’ presidential campaign is increasingly seen as unviable, with no realistic path to securing the Democratic presidential nomination.".......

I see BS has some fans on there regurgitating his propaganda against Hillary.
