I'd like to thank the Bernie Sanders group for banning me

I wasn't planning to post there and didn't even realize I had until I got the ban notice. Like many people, I respond to threads I see on the 'trending' section on the front page. Apparently the thread was trending.

Here's the offending post:



By being banned (for 'trolling'), I can now say unequivocally that an official representative of the Bernie contingent on DU condones using Right Wing sources and considers pointing that out to be 'trolling.'

That's okay because they usually cross post several times. I try to avoid the group because you have to post there to be banned. This is all going to be over when the primary is over.

Responded in a thread that was on the Latest page. Until then I never paid much attention to "protected groups" or whatever is the DU term for "rooms" where critical thinking can be grounds for immediate banning.

8. Yeah, touchy and they whined about the BOG not taking any of their

shite for years.

We would routinely give them a chance to self delete unless it was too egregious whether they knew they were in the BOG or not. Sometimes you just know that your Group isn't a good fit for certain members who only have cheap pot shots to hurl at the very reason for said Group.

We also stated that we would unblock anyone who wanted it.. and let many peeps back.

11. It didn't look like

there was anything wrong or offensive in that particular post. They probably just don't like you, and were desperate for any small reason to ban you. Some of BS's "supporters" (at least on DU) might turn out to be his worst enemies. I've run into a handful of former fence-sitting DUers already who said they support HC now in part because of the negativity thrown at her. One of the worst ways to win people over to your side is to antagonize them and go negative all the time.
