How can anyone still support Sanders?

He's coming apart in real time. He's been exposed as an empty suit who has no idea of how or even why he would institute the talking points he pretends are issues, and he's now taken to lying about his opponent, making up crap about Hillary, feigning injury and pretending the lies are based in fact.

The WP calls him "shockingly ignorant" on his own policies and the implications and ramifications of the same were they ever enacted. He gives possibly the worst political interview of all time to the Daily News and tries to blame it on everyone but himself. His surrogates are sent out to double down on the lies, whining all the way.

To what level of cognative dissonance must a person aspire to still believe that such an - OK, I'll say it, even if Hillary won't - unqualified person should be president? And when I say he is unqualified, I say that based on his own actions, his own words and his inability to provide the words to explain and expand upon his supposed signature issue in this campaign.

Sanders has embarrassed himself beyond the point of redemption. Seriously, what excuse/explanation can he offer to redeem his candidacy after turning in such a week of gaffes, missteps and blatant lying? And the media has called him on all of it, vocally and collectively.

Time to wrap it up, Sen Sanders. You've crossed a line from which there is no retreat.

If someone alerts on this OP, the always pro-Sanders jury will vote to hide this OP because it has the nerve to criticize St. Bernie.

mode, and he's certainly not at the level for being the president of his vast nation. I don't understand how his voters can't see that when it's so crystal clear.

Certain types of people are attracted to such demagogues on both the Left and the Right.

achieve his agenda and the answers either danced off to something unrelated or some of his other favorite talking points. He doesn't want to talk about his gun voting record, denial voting for the crime bill, and voting against the Amber Alert.

It’s astonishing that, on this of all issues, the campaign would need to issue a what-the-candidate-meant-to-say statement. Even then, the campaign has left a lot of essential questions unanswered.
