Seems to me they're making more enemies than friends.
The Sanders campaign still has its focus on winning as many pledged delegates as possible in the states still yet to vote, like New York, Pennsylvania and California and the campaign is trying to direct supporters looking to help to volunteering or organizing in those states. In fact the campaign's website lists hundreds of organizing events, many posted by volunteers, but the campaign has moved to remove any events related to reaching out to superdelegates.
But this hasn't stopped Sanders' enthusiastic supporters from taking matters into their own hands. This week, a Sanders fan named Spencer Thayer created the "Superdelegate Hit List," a website to compile and share the contact information of superdelegates, so they can be persuaded. It is not affiliated with the Sanders campaign, but a campaign spokesman didn't respond to multiple requests for comment.
Thayer, who answered questions over email, later changed the name simply to "Superdelegate List."
"The intent of the branding was to parody the famous Clinton Hit List, this was a tongueincheek attempt at parody which I thought would encourage resharing," Thayer said. "The branding began to detract from the campaign's purpose, so it wasn't a hard decision to make the change once it was clear it wasn't working."

(9,494 posts)harassing candidates and now threatening Delegates, I'd say that Bernie Followers are going to alienate everyone outside of Bernieland. Just like Trump supporters, they are having their day but, their brief brush with "power" is almost over.

They're truly annoying to me, but... the good news is that their shelf-life is almost over ... their expiration date is near ... soon, Bernie will return to the Senate.

(4,035 posts)They tend to go after women Superdelegates the hardest. It is typical gamerbro behavior, and is why that segment of Sanders' supporters are often called Berniebros. Initially, I tried to differentiate between these a$$holes and ordinary Bernie supporters here on DU, but was told that that was an insult. Frankly, any group of supporters that condone this kind of behavior among themselves, in support of their candidate, deserve to be called a Berniebro.
Of course, that's not even getting into the accusation so many BS supporters have that this kind of behavior is rovian tactics from the Clinton camp - that kind of delusion really should result in some kind of mental health check.
