Colombia's Uribe slams Venezuelan 'dictator' Maduro

Colombia's former leader Alvaro Uribe on Sunday rejected an accusation by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro that Uribe was plotting to kill him as the desperate ploy of a dictator trying to hide his illegitimacy.

In the latest in a string of explosive accusations from Hugo Chavez's recently-elected successor, Maduro said on Friday he had evidence that Uribe was conspiring with the Venezuelan opposition to kill him.

Uribe, a conservative and staunch U.S. ally, was often at odds with the hardline socialist Chavez during their respective rules. He has also questioned Maduro's disputed election victory last month.

In a statement issued by his lawyer Jaime Granados, Uribe said Maduro's accusations were part of a scheme to silence criticism and distract Venezuelans from other issues.

Sometimes all you can do is laugh.

Uribe clawed his way to Bush Cartel 'made man' status and mafia boss of Colombia on a mountain of bodies, brutally stolen elections and corruption of every kind. Some one hundred of his closest political associates including family members are under investigation or already in jail in Colombia for ties to the death squads, cocaine trafficking, illegal domestic spying on judges, prosecutors and political opponents, election fraud, ponzie schemes and other crimes. He is as dirty as they come and it is very likely that the only reason HE isn't in jail is that he is under U.S. protection, like other members of the Bush junta, and knows too much about U.S. crimes in Colombia. Indeed, my rule of thumb for Bushwhacks applies to Uribe: whatever they say, the opposite is true; and whatever they accuse others of doing, they are doing or planning to do. It is a no-brainer, actually, that he is planning a come-back dictatorship in Colombia, probably when Jeb gets Diebolded into the White House here. The cocaine mafia will ride high again in Colombia, and Miami.

So-o-o-o, for this crime boss to call Maduro a "dictator" is FUNNEEEEEE, in dark sort of way. It is also no secret that Uribe's "Black Eagles" death squads were infiltrating Venezuela to assassinate Chavez and cause mayhem in Venezuela, and are very likely doing the same now. Uribe is a cold, calculating KILLER, and a powerfully connected, top of the line dirtbag.
