Tiuna City awarded as best project funded by China ( same place as previous post)
The socialist urban complex Tiuna City that is being built in Caracas was awarded by the China Law and Practice magazine as a funded project of the year of this Asian nation.
This achievement was possible as a result of an agreement signed for 1.5 billion dollars between Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and the China Oil Corporation, according to a press release of PDVSA.
The project provides the construction of 13,000 new homes, as part of a financing of $ 4 billion allocated by China.
Statements given in August by top Body coordinator for Housing and Minister for Oil and Mining, Rafael Ramirez, inform that with the support of the Asian nation there are 116 buildings under construction in Fort Tiuna, of 12 floors each, resulting in 13 000 apartments.
