Ex-army chief Juan Emilio Cheyre admits Chile adoption

Chile's former army chief has admitted handing over for adoption the child of murdered left-wing activists after Augusto Pinochet's 1973 military coup.

Juan Emilio Cheyre, who is the current head of the electoral commission, told El Mercurio he took the two-year-old to a convent and handed him to nuns.

The boy, Ernesto Lejderman, was raised in Argentina by his grandparents.

Mr Lejderman, now 40, said he did not think Mr Cheyre should face charges over the incident.

to be involved with the stolen children, and he has been in the government ever since that time, he should give some thought to simply retiring, instead of carrying on as an election official.

Time for the fascists to get out of sight as soon as is they can manage.

He's lucky the man he took away for adoption after his parents were tortured and murdered doesn't publicly harbor hatred for him. He should take it as a blessing and go away. His people have brought incalculable pain, grief, sorrow, and suffering to the human race, their "contributions" are quite enough, the world just can't use any more.

It's good every time light shines on the evil criminality which has happened in this world, so much of it sponsored with the unwitting assistance by U.S. taxpayers, who were kept completely unaware of how their hard earned wages were being spent to harm other innocent people.

If a curse doesn't cling to all this, it would be incomprehensible.

Take your money and run, Cheyre. Retire. Mend your ways. Stay away from Nazi meetings, become a good person for your remaining days.
