PSUV candidate for Sucre admits taking picture with recently shot gang leader

Translation:

The candidate for the Municipality of Sucre in Caracas for the PSUV party, Antonio "El Potro" Álvarez, confirmed the veracity of the photograph where he is seen posing with the "pran" of Sabaneta (Hugo Chávez's birthplace and childhood town) Pedro Caldera, who was shot down this past Sunday by the CICPC.

Álvarez indicated that the picture was taken when the penitentiary games were taking place in accordance with the State to humanize the prisons in the country.

He also denied that he was present at a party, as he's being accused, and empathized that he would be offering his right hand to the youth which currently finds itself within the criminal underworld or behind bars, so that they may recover, but he also assured that in the case that they keep going down the wrong path, he would have to use his left hand to bring justice to those who disobey the law.

This just keeps getting better and better. I'd be very surprised if the PSUV even keeps half of the districts they currently control come the December elections.
