Argentina, Cuba Reaffirm Mutual Support In International Forums

BUENOS AIRES, June 24 (BERNAMA-NNN-Prensa Latina) -- Argentine Foreign Minister Hector Timerman and Cuban First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcelino Medina have reaffirmed the mutual support to causes and sovereign claims of their countries in international forums.

Timerman welcomed Medina and the accompanying delegation as part of the meeting between the two ministries of foreign affairs in which both countries coordinate the common agenda seeking to improve bilateral relations and foster cooperation projects, among other issues of mutual interest.

Medina is accompanied by his adviser Victor Cario, Pedro Pablo Prada, Cuban ministry of foreign affairs' director for South America, while in Argentina the delegation was joined by Ambassador Orestes Perez and the minister counselor at the Embassy Carlos Suanes.

Timerman was accompanied at the friendly meeting by Deputy Foreign Minister Eduardo Zuain and Secretary for International Economic Relations Juan Carlos Bianco.
