Bogota, Dec 1 (Prensa Latina) Cuban musical ensemble Karamba will perform in the famous Hay Festival of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, confirmed today its leader Jorge Luis Robaina (aka Jorgito Karamba), who added that they will share the stage with Cuban singer Pedrito Calvo, an ex member of Van Van.
The band will play songs of their disc Un Puente hacia La Habana (A Bridge to Havana) during the party of ideas and words, scheduled for Jan. 28-31.

Karamba will be accompanied by Calvo in one only performance to offer a sort of Cuban show, almost simultaneously with lectures on literature, philosophy, cinema and economy organized as part of the program of Hay Festival.

It will be a bright opportunity to talk with renowned singers and instrumentalists and pay tribute t o Juan Formell, the director and fouder of the legendary Cuban project Van Van, also known as the train of salsa, Robaina told Prensa Latina.
