Earlier this month two politicians filed a complaint against Fujimori, hoping she would be barred from running in the presidential election.
The presidential campaign of Keiko Fujimori has been hit again with fresh allegations that she gave cash gifts to her supporters during a youth festival last year.
According to a local newspaper, the money used for such gifts was provided by a businessman who is very close to Fujimori and strong supporter of her conservative Popular Force party.
Earlier this month, two politicians filed a complaint against Fujimori regarding this case, hoping she would be banned from running in the presidential election. However, the accusation was dismissed by the electoral board.
But this time the accusation has more weight, coming with a series of photographs showing members of the Fujimori team meeting with the organizers of the event in which the money was allegedly given. The new evidence is already being investigated.
