The Revolution Will NOT Be Televised--Maduro Boots Out Al Jazeera

What an ass that guy is....

Yeah, yeah, it's Fox, but it's LATINO Fox (they don't hate Latinos like American Fox does): http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/news/2016/08/30/venezuela-to-expel-al-jazeera-journalists-planning-to-cover-opposition-march/

Venezuela to expel 3 journalists planning to cover opposition march

The Venezuelan government is set to expel a crew of journalists working for Al Jazeera who planned on covering Thursday’s march against President Nicolás Maduro.

Venezuela’s National Union of Press Workers (SNTP) announced that authorities had detained three employees of the Qatar-based news agency when they arrived on Monday at the Maiquetia international airport outside Caracas.

"Teresa Bo, correspondent, Lagmi Chavez, producer, and a cameraman (from) @AlJazeera were detained in Maiquetia," the SNTP tweeted, adding that their equipment was confiscated.....The Al Jazeera workers, who had arrived on a flight from Colombia, are set to be deported to back to Colombia.

The detainment of the journalists comes as Venezuela’s socialist government faces major economic and political turmoil, with organizers of Thursday’s march demanding that the government meet their constitutionally sanctioned demand for a referendum to remove Maduro from power.

I wish Aljezeera still had their cable news channel, I liked it. Oh well back to BBC.

Maduro has run the ship into the iceberg, he'd rather destroy Venezuela instead of being rational.....

What's obvious though, is that they don't want people to see the scale of how big the rally on September 1st will be, which will be easy to see from the aerial shots provided by drones. They're doing everything they can to keep the world from knowing, especially now as the OAS and Mercosur is starting to turn their backs on the Narco PSUV party under Maduro's rule. Their days are numbered, and are simply stalling for time.

I hope they do that, because people do need to see what is happening in VZ.

This bullshit that "the people" are behind Maduro/Manuro is just that--bullshit. People are dying for want of basic needs. I agree that their days are numbered and it can't happen soon enough.

The first JET BLUE a/c just arrived in Havana...I think the Cubans might be motivated to go with strength, rather than continue to support a failed state full of people who are increasingly desperate. Let nature take its course....and it'll happen without any help from anyone outside VZ, too. Enough is enough.
