Venezuelas Opposition-Led Symbolic Vote on Sunday Could Be Turning Point, Say Experts

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/venezuela-s-opposition-led-symbolic-vote-sunday-could-be-turning-n782926

[div] MIAMI, Florida — After more than 100 days of protests, the violence and unrest in Venezuela continues, sparking increasing reactions from the international community. Amid the deteriorating situation, opposition leaders from the National Assembly have called for a symbolic plebiscite, or referendum vote, on Sunday and are urging Venezuelan nationals around the globe to either support or reject President Nicolas Maduro’s plan to rewrite the constitution.

The July 16 plebiscite comes two weeks before the government holds a vote on July 30 to elect delegates to a special assembly. That special assembly would then begin a rewrite of the constitution. Maduro has said this overhaul is the best solution to finding peace in Venezuela.

Even with the threat of low turnout for the July 30th vote hanging over the process, the government is determined to go ahead, as the Associated Press reported. "Even if only one, two or three Venezuelans vote, it's still an election and the opposition will be left there squealing," socialist party leader Diosdado Cabello said on state TV.

This is the most recent article I could find about the plebiscite. Today is finally Sunday. We shall see what happens. Most likely a vast number of people vote against the illegal PROSTitutyente and it shows the whole world that no matter what the Maduro administration does about it, the clear majority of Venezuelans don't want it, showing even more the illegitemacy of the constitutional assembly and his presidency.

I really hope this is a real turning point. My question after Chavismo falls is, where are Maduro and the rest of the narcos that make up the PSUV leadership gonna flee to?

Meaning that they had only 3 weeks to organize and advertise it, especially with a government that did all it "legally" could to make it fail, I'd say that was a success.

Including the murder of a 60 year old grandmother by motorcycle riding colectivos in her working class (previously pro-Chavismo) neighborhood. The message is clear: Vote against Chavismo, and suffer the consequences.

You can bet that that barrio in Catia won't be seeing anymore CLAP bags.

They showed photos and videos of previous dates and events, and some even from the masses who voted against the ANC, and tried to pass them off as people participating in the ANC's simulation. This is very typical to see especially in Telesur. These idiots know they are lost, so all they can do is lie through their teeth.
