Tomás Guanipa, secretary general of Primero Justicia, said that the elimination of the metropolitan mayoralty of Alto apure and Caracas represents a violation of the Constitution, since the measure supposes the elimination of the governorates.
"The fraudulent ANC is currently eliminating the metropolitan mayoralty of Alto Apure and Caracas in violation of the Constitution, this is the equivalent of eliminating two governorates," he said through his Twitter account.
He added that the fact implies the modification of the Constitution at the whim of the Chavista parliament without prior consultation with the population.
He called on the international community for the measure, since he considers that the actions were taken because said mayorships are governed by opponents.
