The transport stoppage that was lived on Tuesday partially in Caracas, forced the authorities of the municipality of Libertador to deploy the so-called "perreras" (kennels) to mobilize citizens in La Yaguara.
These vehicles have been part of the "solutions" to which the Chavista mayor of Libertador, Érika Farías, has opted to alleviate the strong public transport crisis that Caraqueños suffer every day, however; it has not achieved its objective, because the problem is becoming more and more acute, according to the testimony of some citizens to Caraota Digital.
The "kennels" are vehicles that many have indicated as
insecure, dangerous and uncomfortable, because it is a truck in which people gather to be moved to their destination and that does not have the right measures to serve as a transport unit public.
The carriers called for an assembly with the other regional representations on Tuesday, to discuss the increase of the passage in 2,000 bolivars, an amount that will begin to be charged as of February 1, so the Executive has not approved it.

These vehicles (I have seen them in person) were death traps 5 years ago. With no maintenance, no spare parts, bald tires and barely held together with farm wire, they have a high center of gravity and tip over when the least pothole is hit. (Chavismo has been notorious for not fixing their infrastructure)
