Kemberlyn Talero.- The Executive Vice President, Tareck El Aissami, informed on Tuesday that the Petro will also be auctioned in the System of Exchange Rates of Floating Market Complementary Exchange (Dicom) once its pre-sale stage finishes,
in order to dynamize the Bolivarian Economic Agenda and accompany the national productive sector.
"We have taken the decision that the petro is also auctioned through the Dicom for the development of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda and companies linked to the fifteen engines of the Venezuelan economy," said the Executive Vice President during his speech at the National Council of Productive Economy realized in the White Palace, in Caracas.
The Aissami stressed that the measure will provide the productive sectors of the country operations of purchase and sale of raw materials, goods, service payments and technological development.
The Executive Vice President also informed that the bank will be allowed to register petros as part of its patrimony . "We are already ready to buy petros as well, with a discount, and that discount can automatically be registered as part of their patrimony (...) Yes they have another crypto out there or they have dollars, euros,
or any exchangeable currency, we exchange it for petro and that petro is recognized as part of their assets, "he said.

The very reason to own cryptocurrency is to NOT be beholden to any government whim. The Petro scam is exactly the opposite. It is meant to do one thing... bring in hard currency into a despotic regime, in exchange for a promise (from thieves and liars) to exchange it for the value of a barrel of oil that hasn't been extracted from an oil field that hasn't been developed.
The hilarity is, El Aissami is willing to take euros, dollars or other cryptocurrencies from Venezuelans... but not Bolivars (Venezuelan currency that is worthless)... as if anyone in Venezuela who had access to hard currency would throw their money down the rat hole that is the Petro! Especially when the Chavistas won't even publish the prospectus for the Petro, nor add information about transactions on the blockchain.
