Local official complains about lack of electricity, get arrested by Venezuelan secret police.

They arrested the president of the Municipal Chamber of Maracaibo
The press officer of the organization was also deprived of freedom

On Tuesday, the president of the Municipal Chamber of Maracaibo, Carlos Armijo, was arrested along with the press chief of the organization, Leonel Reyes.

Officials of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN) apprehended them in front of the headquarters of Corpoelec in Zulia.

Nora Bracho, deputy of the National Assembly, added that members of the Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT) party were also deprived of their liberty.

For his part, the deputy Tomás Guanipa said that citizens demanded solutions before the headquarters of the state company.
