Congressman Bolsonaro Defended New Military Coup in the 1990s

The leader of the Brazilian poles for the next presidential election in the scenarios without Lula, of the PT, Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) defended a new military coup in Brazil in the 1990s.
In interviews, meetings and in a speech in the country's Lower House, the lawmaker said that he did not believe in a solution for Brazil through votes.
In his interviews nowadays, Bolsonaro, who is likely to run for president, has adopted the opposite opinion. As he did while attending the March for Jesus on Thursday, May 31, Bolsonaro says that he never used the word "intervention" when questioned about the current push for a military intervention in the country - an euphemism for coup.
"I have never said the word intervention. If a military officer becomes the head of the country, it will be through votes," he said.
