Assassination of former Israel colonel in Honduras

A former Israeli colonel was killed by unknown assailants in his home in Honduras in Central America, Hebrew media sources reported today.
According to Walla news site, 70-year-old ex-officer, Reuven Franklin, immigrated to Honduras 40 years ago.
Franklin’s wife said that three people riding on a motorcycle arrived at their ranch and shot her husband without saying anything.
Local media reported that Franklin was a former Israeli army colonel who received citizenship in 1976.
Local police are investigating the murder to discover whether his assassination is related to his military past. His body has been taken in for forensic examination.
