"We are in crisis right now, that's why it's called crisis, remember Guri? Do you think I want you to suffer that?" the minister told the media about the regulation of electricity supply.

In many states of the country, there have been constant failures in the supply of electricity for several hours and rationing plans have been applied in different areas.

"Six hours, four hours, there can be 12, there can be eight, there can be four, but the important thing is that the people really know about the rationing and it is carried out," said Minister Dominguez.

Up until THIS MOMENT, the Chavistas had admitted NOTHING. There was no crisis in Venezuela... everything was under control and every issue was being dealt with "at the highest levels". Every failure was (and still is) attributed to those who sought the downfall of Bolivarian Socialism. Sabotage. Theft. CIA. Colombia. Illuminati. Portuguese pig farmers. Brazilian Mafias. Curacao bankers. Aruban fisherman. Sun too close to Venezuela. Fornicating iguanas. Moonrise. Sunsets. You name it, and Chavismo has someone to blame for 19 years of incompetence and malfeasance.

What was once the envy of Latin America is now a cesspool.

As far as the Minister of Electric Power goes, he will be fired and replaced by someone who can follow the script. Not that the next person will get electricity to the people. They will just spout the party line.
